Team Spotlight: Stacey Kirsch, VP of Marketing & Marketplace GM

Introducing our VP of Marketing & Marketplace GM

What are some highlights from your professional background?

My story started as an entrepreneur with a first-to-market consumer footwear brand that I grew from the ground up. I enjoyed the marketing aspect of the my business and decided to pursue that specialty. Marketing has given me the chance to work in a variety of product categories including software, finance, social impact, beauty, fashion, personal care, supplements, real estate and technology.

Why was Crowdz a match for you?

I connected with the mission and understood the pain points for small business owners. I also had recent experience in B2B software and startup marketing, so it was natural fit.

What’s your role?

I lead our marketing efforts which broadly includes building our brand and acquiring users for our platforms. I also oversee the Marketplace team which encompasses the customer experience including front-end UI design and product development.

What are some of the hats you wear (known or unknown)?

Crowdz is a startup….the list would be long 🙂

What makes Crowdz unique?

We have a dedicated, passionate, talented and creative team.

What is the future for Crowdz

The future is bright and I am excited to see all the small businesses we will help with our solution.

Bonus Round:

What’s one fun fact we don’t know about you?

I have appeared in front of the camera.

If you could choose anyone as your mentor, who would you pick?

My grandmother was my mentor.  She was truly a woman ahead of her time and someone to admire.

What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

Journalist – I covered some weird stories.

If you could learn anything what would it be?

I am currently taking tennis lessons to play competitively again after a number of years off the court. Next up, surfing.

What is the first concert you attended?

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

If you have 30-minutes of free time how do you pass the time?

Hanging out with my 5 year old son, Ryder. We will typically go to the beach, swimming, hiking or on a bike ride.
